Welcome back!  I hope you all had a relaxing Thanksgiving Break!  You have roughly 3 weeks before grades are due.  Time to get back to work!

Today's Agenda

1.  Warm Up

  • What did you do over Thanksgiving Break? Write 2-4 sentences.
2.  Battlegrounds Shift ROC
  • Read Chapter 4, Lesson 3
  • Take notes on what you read - Notes should be important information, main ideas, and facts that help you answer essential questions.
  • Write definitions to the 4 key terms - These can be found in the glossary
  • Write a 4-5 sentence summary about the lesson
  • Create a question that a teacher would ask on a test, or ask a question about something you are confused or need clarification on!

  • What is something or someone you are thankful for and why? (COMPLETE SENTENCES!!!)

3.  Read the primary source letters of the Marquis de Lafayette

4.  Write an 8-10 sentence response on the blank Google Doc provide on Classroom that answers this writing prompt:
  • What is a cause you are passionate about?  Make sure to include reasons why you are passionate about it.
